"Meditating is the delicate art of doing nothing -
letting go of everything and being who you are". Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

Everyone has experienced a meditative state in moments of deep joy, happiness or when completely engrossed in an activity, when just for a moment the mind becomes so light and at ease. While we have such moments we are unable to repeat them at will. Many people claim that they are unable to meditate as it is too difficult to do so.

While we gain much from our efforts in life, there are some things that effort cannot accomplish. Meditating is the delicate art of doing nothing - letting go of everything and being who you are.

Sahaj Samadhi, meaning effortless transcendence, is the meditation technique taught by the Art of Living. Sahaj Samadhi is a natural and graceful system of effortless meditation providing the mind with much needed, deep rest and allowing the conscious mind to settle deeply into itself.

When the mind settles down, it lets go of tension and stress, centering itself in the present moment. It is only in the present moment we find true happiness -- those moments when we are free from regrets about the past or anxiety about the future. In Sahaj Samdhi, without effort, we experience the deep inner silence and realise our true potential.

Regular practice of Sahaj Samadhi meditation enhances our daily life by providing:
  • deep relaxation
  • inner peace and harmony
  • improved physical and mental health
  • more energy and creativity
  • developing talents
  • improving self-perception

Our Very Nature

Enlightenment is not an achievement. Rather, getting rid of ignorance is an achievement, getting rid of all the stresses and tension. Because our very nature is enlightenment. That's why "human" and "Divine" are not two things. "Human" is the outer skin and "Divine" is the inside.
